Thomas James Quinane - was born on the 2nd October 1865 at Drysdale in Victoria.

Thomas married Jeremiah Quinane's eldest daughter Mary Margaret Quinane at St Mary's Church in Burramine on 23/2/1905. (This union is very significant - While we know these families must be related because they came from the same village in Ireland,  to date we have not found the Irish records which link these two families. This marriage effectively links the families in Australia!).

Thomas's publican's licence to run the Barooga Hotel was extended in 1904 (Jerilderie Herald and Urana Advertiser, 15 Apr 1904, page 2).

In January 1913, a four bed room cottage owned by Thomas, but rented to a Mr Maher at Culcairn burnt down (Wagga Wagga Express, 30 Jan 1913, page 2).

Australian Electoral Rolls 1903-1980 has Thomas James Quinane listed at Pyramid Hill from 1909-1913, with occupation listed as "Farmer" and Berrigan from 1930, 1934-35, with his occupation listed as "Labourer". Sands Directory of Sydney and NSW has Thomas (or Thos) Quinane listed as living in Barooga from 1922 to 1936 with occupation of "Charcoal Merchant".

Thomas died in Barooga on 14th October 1939 and Mary Margaret died in Barooga on 17 November 1937. Thomas and Mary had three children:
